Gentle yoga practices tailored to your needs and abilities. Learn to work with your persistent pain to re-energize, restore and build physical and emotional resilience. This class is for all ages, no experience in yoga is required, I will meet you where you are in your abilities. This class also fosters community and a shared experience. We have a good laugh and support each other.

ZOOM Chair Yoga For People In Pain

A gentle yoga class for those with Chronic Pain. We will have a check in each class so that I can tailor the class to who is in the zoom meeting. We will also learn about pain science, yoga philosophy and meditation. We might do some standing, but we will not get on the floor.

I will request that you have your camera ON for this class, so that I can see what you are doing and hopefully give feedback. You can add a blurred background or other background in zoom.

Props needed:

Chair, yoga strap (or scarf)

Nice to have: Yoga blocks

Come and check out a pain care mat class and see if you would like to register for the full 6 week series starting the next week. This class is for anyone who has chronic pain of any kind. You need to be able to get down and up from the floor independently. This class is based around learning coping skills such as breathing, mindfulness and movement. The series will also dive into the science of chronic pain.
